What is LasyTools?
LasyTools help you in designing optical systems with a focus on lasers: from simple calculations to complex problem solving.
At its core, LasyTools offer a suite of online tools to make laser engineering easier, faster, and accessible for everyone.
By providing these tools in one place, you can focus on your work without the need to write calculation and simulation programs.
Who are we?
We are a group of enthusiastic optical engineers with over 20 years of exerience in laser R&D.
We are based in Silicon Valley in California between the world's most powerful laser at the National Ignition Facility NIF in Livermore, CA and many commercial laser and optics companies like Coherent, Lumentum, MKS, and Zeiss.
We started to develop our first laser and resonator simulation software "RESSI" in 2002. The development was triggered by the need of capabilities that other software tools could not offer.
Since then, the software grew into a powerful collection of tools to support laser engineering and applications.
Now we want to make these software tools available for everyone.
